Professional Diploma Course in Healing

With Annie Drury, in association with The College Of Healing, Banbury.

There are many courses in healing available today, but few that take their students through the depth of personal and spiritual growth that is offered by the College of Healing.

The course has been specifically designed for individuals who already have a basic understanding of healing and who wish to take their healing training to a professional level. Alternatively, it is also ideal for those people who are interested in self healing and the deep personal development which is integral to this course.

The training is taken over an 30 month period to allow not only for the amount of study, which covers many subjects not generally addressed in other healing training, but also for the intense personal development which takes place.

The diploma qualification equips the student to practice to a high professional standard.

Units Covered: Self Healing, Personal Development, Human Processes, Healing and working with clients. Subjects include working with energrtic systems in an integrated way, counselling skills, negative energies, cancer cases and earth energy work.

The weekend consists of 3 sessions of Hatha Yoga, Yoga Nidra on Saturday afternoon, Group Mantra, Yoga studies and Karma Yoga. The weekend will be conducted in Ashram style, with silence being observed after 9pm. All meals will be vegetarian and we ask that no alchohol be consumed for the duration of your stay. There are three bedrooms available: 1 twin with en-suite, 1 triple with en-suite and 1 twin with separate bathroom.

Andrea has been teaching Yoga for approximately 23 years and includes an eclectic mix of various types of Yoga that she has come across over the years. She trained with The British Wheel of Yoga and has successfully run many classes, including organising and facilitating a number of Yoga Weekend Retreats in the recent past.

Through her Yoga practices she became interested in life energy and became a Reiki Master approximately 7 years ago.

We have already run two Introduction to Beekeeping courses and are happy to run a 3rd course for those who are interested.

Keith and Linda are members of the Ludlow and District Beekeepers Association and have 5 years experience with beekeeping.

2011 has been a very good year. We started the season with 2 healthy hives and during the early part of the year managed to increase the number of colonies to 8 National hives. However, one hive was attacked by wasps and sadley the colony was destroyed and the wasps have cleaned out the honey stored there. 75 pounds of honey were extracted during the Spring and the remainder of the honey has been left on the hives. This seemed to be successful through last Winter.

 We are involved with the books and teachings of the Russian recluse, Anastasia, who has astouded Russia and the World with her deeply fundamental and spiritual revelations. In particular her revolutionary approach to gardening and the cultivation of vegetables. The series of books under the title of the 'Ringing Cedars of Russia' have sold in excess of 10 million copies worldwide and have caused a stunning reaction

As a result of her influance a special 'Gardeners Day' on 23rd July has been declared all over Russia and is now spreading to other countries as well.

Following our successful Garden Party last year we are holding a larger 'Garden Festival' this year with all the great happenings of last year such as live music, plant and seed swaps, games and plenty to eat and drink, we are celebrating with live music from local band 'Whalebone'. They play a fantastic mixture of folk and celtic rock and are guaranteed to get your feet and body moving.

Intensive 2 day courses

Special Select Residential training courses are being run by Keith Wilkins - based at Peace Haven with sailing taking place at the nearby Chelmarsh Reservoir. Open to small groups or as a 1 to 1 course.

Keith is an International and Olympic Sailing Coach and has just won his 12th Masters World Championship in the International Laser Class.
